Creative Writing

Creative Writing

With Guide Erica Speegle | June 18 - July 25, 2019 (12 sessions); Tue/Thu 1:00 PM-2:00 PM PST

Everyone knows the power of a good story, but how does an author begin? How do they translate the things in their imagination into something that someone else can experience? Through writing, an author can offer readers a door into a different reality. For every young writer who has dreamed of creating something powerful and meaningful through writing, this class is a chance to push forward in the journey. All the students taking this class will write, share their work with their peers, analyze their favorite authors for tools of the trade, and explore the joy of telling a really good story.
