Michael Strong is the founder of The Academy of Thought and Industry.  He is also the lead author of Be the Solution:  How Entrepreneurs and Conscious Capitalists Can Solve All the World's Problems.  He has led several innovations in law, governance, and culture, including signing the first agreement with Honduras to create a Startup City, creating the idea of a "Startup City," and creating the Academy of Thought and Industry as an innovation in culture.

Lead Humanities Guide and Curricular Developer

Dr. Carrie-Ann Biondi earned a B.A. in American Studies from Hofstra University, an M.A. in American Culture Studies from Bowling Green State University, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy from Bowling Green State University. She has been teaching a wide range of Philosophy courses and first-year writing seminars at the college level for 25 years, during which time she has used and refined Socratic pedagogy. Her hobbies include hiking, walking, running philosophical discussion groups for people of all ages, going on historical walking tours, listening to music, going to concerts, and visiting art museums.

Luc Travers

Luc Travers is the author of Touching The Art: A Guide to Enjoying Art at a Museum. He develops art appreciation curriculum and trains teachers for Higher Ground Education. He is the owner and primary teacher of LiteratureAtOurHouse.com which provides online literature classes. He also works at the Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington, NC, where he trains docents. Mr. Travers has led art museum tours for both adults and children to over 40 museums around the world (including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Getty Center, the Louvre, and the Vatican museums). He graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in Art History.
